U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned in a tweet on Saturday that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman had agreed to his request to extend oil manufacturing “perhaps as much as
2,000,000 barrels” to offset manufacturing from Iran and Venezuela.
There was no instant remark from Saudi authorities.
The world’s high oil exporter plans to pump as much as 11 million barrels of oil per day (bpd) in July, an oil business supply advised Reuters this week, after OPEC agreed with Russia and different
oil-producing allies to lift output by about 1 million bpd.
